YOU Can Make a Difference in Cincinnati
Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank is an all-hands-on-deck organization. We rely on the help of numerous local volunteers to get our diapers out the door every month and onto the bottoms of the babies who need them. If you live in the Greater Cincinnati area and are passionate about helping children in need, consider joining our team of dedicated volunteers!
How Can You Help?
There are many things you can do to help Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank not just exist, but thrive in our community. For example, you can:
- Count new diaper inventory
- Unpack monthly diaper shipments
- Sort, organize and wrap diapers
- Help with administrative tasks like database entry
- Fill orders for monthly diaper donations to partner agencies
- Help at events like our Spring Gala or fall Diaper Dash
Want to be a part of the team? We’d love to have you. Simply sign up for an activity and time that works best for you below. We are always adding new volunteer spots so check back often! **Need a job where you’re not on your feet the whole time? Email Jamie and we’ll make sure you’re covered on your volunteer day.**
Interested in bringing your group to volunteer? Great idea! We can organize a 3-4 hour private volunteer event for your work, school or social group. Wrapping diapers is a great team-building activity! Email Jamie to coordinate your volunteer event.
We welcome students to Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank! Consider us when looking for rewarding ways to fulfill your community service hour requirements for school and clubs. With our online volunteer signups, tracking and verifying your hours has never been easier!
*Please note that our minimum volunteer age is 8 (parents/guardians–you’re the best judge of your younger kiddos’ capacity to work at our warehouse for a couple hours!). Kids ages 8-15 must be accompanied with a youth to adult ratio of 5:1.*
**If you are a minor, please download and bring a signed copy of this volunteer waiver with your parent or guardian’s signature with you when you come to volunteer. If you don’t bring a signed copy of the waiver you will not be allowed to volunteer.**
There are many ways your younger children can get involved. Whether it’s organizing a diaper drive in your neighborhood or school or an Empty Your Piggybank change drive to collect loose coins for Sweet Cheeks, it’s never too early to start teaching our kids how to serve others and their community. We’d also love to come speak to your Daisy Troop, Girl Scouts, Cub or Boy Scouts, or other group of youngsters about diaper need in the Greater Cincinnati community and what Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank is doing to eliminate it.
*Send us a note if you have any questions or a younger group of children interested in helping!*
